Ladies and Gentlemen:
I would like to introduce our artist, Janos Kegye.
János Kegye panflute artist is widely known not only in Europe but all over the world. He started his career as a jazz saxophonist in various well known bands such as “kisrákfogó”, “Panta Rhei”, “Spiral” “Piramis” , “Edda” , “Corvina” and “Hatszív”.
In 1988 his first pan flute record was published in Germany by Koch Records.
In 1991 János Kegye graduated from the Amsterdam Academy of Music and since then has been giving concerts, teaching and writing music for pan flute. He applies music from different cultural origins in his works. His record ”Pánsípos” contains Irish, Chinese and Gipsy tunes in modern instrumental and classical applications.
In 2004 his ”Real Classical Christmas” with Hungarian State Radio Orchestra was sold as Platinum record in the classical category.
János uses the Irish tunes of Celtic Sunrise and Irish Feet of Lord of the dance to create a real Irish party.
In concerts he includes beautiful classical melodies from Masters such as Handel, Mozart, Dvorák, Haydn, Vivaldi, Brahms and Massenet.
He gives life to many Hungarian , Austrian, German and traditional gypsy songs and international hits that have never been played by pan flute before.
In 2003 he cooperated in the record ”Voices of Heart ” of Balázs Havasi. In the 2003 New Year Gala János gave beautiful concert in Hungarian State Opera with Philharmonic Orchestra.
In November 2004 his new record called “Intimate Moments “ was released with harpist Emese Bajtala and The Pannon String Quartet. At that time he also launched a tour of many concerts on the same theme in various cultural venues, churches and Christmas events.
In 2005 and 2006 the records called ”Exclusive” and ”Ave Maria” were released. In these records János plays the tunes his concert audience loves the best.
In 2008 the record called ”Love Songs” by english Soul Records-studios saw light with collection of beautiful romantical songs by ABBA, Bee Gees, Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, Brian Adams as well as theme songs of various international films. Love Songs is on sale in 17 countries all over the world.
In October 2009 new classical record The Prayer was released. János is getting ready for the new record tour in these days. There is also a new record in 2010, called Latin Christmas with Gábor Antal Szűcs (Totya – who plays with Tibor Tátrai in Latin Duo ). This record gives an unique opportunity to hear guitar and pan flute at the same time with extraordinary background of Latin beats.
Until today János Kegye has released 26 records, cooperated in numerous recordings and his records are for sale worldwide. He has been touring in USA, China, Asia and Europe.

Kegye János pánsíp művész neve nem csak Európa, hanem világszerte Ismert. Művészi pályafutását jazz szaxofonosként kezdte, több, Európa szerteismert együttesben szaxofonozott. Pánsíp iránti vonzalma eredményeként 1988-ban, Németországban jelent meg első pánsípos lemeze a Koch Rekords gondozásában. 1991-ben elvégezte Amszterdamban a Zeneakadémia mesterkurzusát, koncertjei mellett zeneszerzéssel és tanítással foglalkozott. A "Pánsípos" című lemeze ír, kínai, cigányzenéket is tartalmaz modern hangszerelésben, ill. Klasszikus zenei átiratok is megtalálhatóak rajta. A 2004 karácsonyán megjelent "Igaz klasszikus karácsony" című lemeze a Magyar Rádió Szimfonikus zenekarával készült. Ez a lemez klasszikus
Kategóriában platina lemez lett. Állandó kísérői a "Celtic Sunrise" , Michael Flatley "Lord of the dance" című zenei anyagából adnak elő egy fergeteges ír blokkot.
Koncertprogramjában szerepet kapnak gyönyörű klasszikus dallamok,- Handel, Mozart, Dvorák, Bach, Haydn, Vivaldi, Brahms, Massenet...- a "Time to Say goodbye", a "Pacsirta", cigánydalok, német és osztrák sramli dalok. Ezek a Magyar- és nemzetközi világslágerek ezen a hangszeren még nem szólaltak meg.
2003 novemberében közreműködött Havasi Balázs " A szív hangjai " című lemezén. 2003. December 31-én a Magyar Állami Operaházban adott gyönyörű koncertet a Filharmónia Társaság Zenekara kíséretével.
2004 novemberében jelent meg „Meghitt pillanatok” címmel új lemeze Bajtala Emese hárfaművész és a Pannon vonósnégyes közreműködésével. A lemez megjelenésével egy időben indult a lemezbemutató koncertsorozata is, amelynek templomok, művelődési házak, karácsonyi rendezvények adnak otthont.
2005 novemberében adták ki AZ „Exclusive” című Cd-t, majd 2006 decemberében AZ „Ave Maria” című új CD - je jelent meg. Ezen a lemezen azokat a dalokat játssza, melyet a közönség a legjobban kedvel és keres a koncertjein.
2008-ben "Love songs" címmel egy gyönyörü, szerelmes dalokat tartalmazó válogatás készült el, mely zenei anyagot a „Soul Records” Angol hanglemez kiadón keresztül 17 országban értékesítik. Ezen a lemezen ABBA, Bee Gees, Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, Brian Adams és más nagy sztárok, filmek betétdalai szerepelnek.
2009 októberben jelent meg egy új klasszikus lemez „Ima” /The Prayer/ címmel, mely bemutató körútja a napokban indul.
2010 tavaszán Szűcs Antal Gáborral (Totya) /a Tátrai Tiborral alkotott Latin duo tagja/ készült egy „Latin Karácsony” című album. Ez a csodálatos zene pánsípon és gitáron páratlan élvezetet nyújt hallgatóinak. A világon elsőször szólalnak meg ezek a dallamok ebben a hangszer-párosításban.
Eddig 26 lemeze jelent meg, számtalan lemezen közreműködött, és szerte a világon árulják lemezeit. Számos lemezbemutató turnéja volt Amerikában, Kínában, Ázsiában és az Európai országokban.

Der Name Janos Kegye ist nicht nur in Europa, sondern auf der ganzen Welt bekannt.
Janos Kegye begann seine Karriere als Saxophonspieler, spielte in verschiedene Bands wie „Pantha Rhei“, „Spiral“, „Corvina“ und später zusammen mit berühmten ungarischen Bands wie „Edda“ und „Piramis“.
Seine erste Platte als Panflötist erschien in Deutschland im Jahre 1988 bei Koch Records.
1991 beendete er in Amsterdam den Mastercourse der Dutch Music Academy. Zur selben Zeit betätigte er sich als Komponist und Lehrer.
Das Album „Pansipos“ (Der Panflötenspieler) enthält moderne Variationen der irischen Folk- , traditioneller chinesischer und gipsy Musik, ebenso aber auch klassische Werke.
2004 realisierte Kegye zusammen mit dem Ungarischen Radio-Symphonie Orchester das Album „True Classical Christmas“, welches mit einer Platin-Platte in seiner Kategorie ausgezeichnet wurde.
Seine Begleiter sind die irische Tanzgruppen „ Celtic Sunrise“ und „ Irish Feet“, mit denen er eine fantastische Show von Michael Flatleys „ Lord of Dance“ inszenierte.
Sein Repertoire enthält wundervolle klassische Werke von Händel, Mozart, Dvorak, Bach, Haydn, Vivaldi, Brahms und Massenet, ebenso aber auch Gipsy-Lieder und deutsche „Schrammel“-Musik.
Diese internationalen und ungarischen Werke wurde noch nie zuvor auf diesem Instrument gespielt.
Im Jahre 2003 bot Janos Kegye gemeinsam mit dem Ungarischen Philharmonie-Orchester ein unvergessliches Silvesterkonzert in der Ungarischen Staatsoper.
In 2004 erschien auf dem Markt sein neue LP „Meghitt pillanatok“, auf welcher er gemeinsam mit dem Pannon Quartett spielte. Zur selben Zeit startete Kegye eine Tour durch Kirchen und Kulturhäuser in Ungarn. Im Jahre 2005 folgten „ Exclusive“ und später „Ave Maria“.
Die CD „Love Songs“ aus dem Jahre 2008 erschien bei Soul Records in London und wurde in 17 Ländern verkauft. Auf dieser Platte sind wunderschöne Liebeslieder zu hören, von Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, ABBA , Bee Gees, Brian Adams und anderen.
Im Oktober 2009 kam seine neueste Klassik-CD heraus: „Ima“ / „The Prayer“. Die Promotion Tour beginnt in diesen Tagen!
Zusammen mit Szücs Antal Gabor (Gitarrist des „Latin Duo“) arbeitet Kegye an einem neuen Projekt: „Latin Christmas“, auf welcher erstmals das Zusammenspiel von Pan- flöte und Gitarre zu hören ist.

Ha iniziato la carriera come saxofonista jazz nei gruppi "Panta Rhei", nei

János Kegye Umjetnik Panove Flaute
Ime Jánosa Kegyea, umjetnika panove flaute, poznato je ne samo po Europi, već širom svijeta. Svoju umjetničku karijeru započeo je kao saksafonist jazz-a, svirao je u nekoliko bendova poznatih po Europi. Zahvaljujuci ljubavi prema panovoj flauti, prva ploća mu se pojavila kod Koch Rekordsa u Njemačkoj.
1991.g. završio je majstorski tečaj Muzičke akademije u Amsterdamu. Osim koncerata, bavio se skladateljstvom i predavanjem.
Za Bozić 2004.g. izdao je ploču s naslovom „Pravi klasićni Božić”
u pratnji Simfonijskog orkestra Madjarskog radija. Ova ploča u klasičnoj kategoriji postigla je platinasto izdanje.
Na repertoaru njegovih koncerata se nalaze divne klasične melodije, - Handel,
Mozart, Dvorák, Bach, Haydn, Vivaldi, Brahms, Massenet...- kao i "Time to
Say goodbye", „Slavuj”, romske pjesme, njemačke, austrijske šraml melodije. Ovi madjarski, odnosno svjetski hitovi, prvi put su zasvirani na ovom insrtumentu.
Na kraju 2003.g. održao je jedan fantastičan koncert u pratnji Filharmonijskog orkestra u Državnoj operi Madjarske.
2004.g. mu se pojavila ploča s naslovom „Intimni trenutci”, na kojoj sudjeluje Emese Bajtala na harfi sa gudačkim kvartetom „Pannon”. U isto vrijeme je počeo turneju koncerata, održanih po crkvama.
Do sada je izdao 26 CD-a (2005.g. „Exclusive”, 2006.g. „Ave Maria”,
2008.g. „Love songs”, 2009.g. „Molitva” itd.) a sudjelovao je na bezbroj snimaka. Njegove se ploče prodavaju širom svijeta u 15 država prijeko engleske izdavačke kuće „Soul Records”. Održao je takodjer nekoliko turneja po Americi, Kini, Aziji i po Europskim državama.
Godišnje 30 koncerata (besplatnih)posvijećuje bolesnicima u bolnicama i starijim ljudima koji žive u staračkim domovima.
Svake godine stalni je gost programa „Pečuški Advent”, kada također nastupa besplatno na zadovoljstvo velikobrojne publike.
